Can I send you inspiration photos?
I will gladly take any inspiration photos you send. I will use inspiration photos to give a general idea and will always recreate my own spin & unique look to it that you will absolutely love. We can also add digital background edits to an image for additional cost.
What is included in my session fee?
Pricing includes consultation, prep work prior to your session, cleaning & sanitation of studio after each session, photographer & clients time in studio, safety training, access to ASP clients closet & prop use, creativity during and after your session. Professional edited digital images of your choice. We do not release unedited raw images. Professional printing services are available for additional cost.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
Newborn sessions are best when photographed in the AM, when babies are generally calmer and less cranky. However together we can find a time that works best for both photographer and client.
Do I have to bring anything?
I have an extended collection of beautiful gowns for maternity & family sessions, hand-crafted newborn outfits, headbands, bonnets, wraps, buckets, bowls, props, and much more available, so no need to bring anything. Let me know if there's something specific of mine you'd like to use in your session. You may also bring personal items & your own clothing if you'd like.
Why is under 14 days old ideal for a newborn session?
Your newborn sleeps deeply and are still womb-like & very flexible in these first 2 weeks after birth, which gives us a better chance of getting those cute sleepy shots, and being able to pose baby into the most adorable curled up poses we all love. Although we can of course do newborn sessions up to 3 months old.
Do you offer prints, photo album & canvas products for my photo shoot images?
I offer luxurious heirloom pieces to showcase the significance of your memories. From prints, canvases, to albums, my full line of keepsakes is here to preserve your family's most treasured memories.
We don't feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Yes that is ok, I am here to help! Don't be afraid to reach out to me and chat about all your concerns regarding your session! I will guid your direction and posing techniques. My sessions are all about making you feel beautiful and documenting your family during this amazing time in your life. I fully expect this to be a very relaxed experience. No stress, no pressure to perform. Just fun!
How should we dress for our family session?
Coordinate your outfits with your family members to create a cohesive look. Choose soft, neutral colors. Avoid bright and neon colors, large logos or busy patterns that may be distracting.
